These terms apply to your use of the Tithipatra app, made by Teispace Technology Private Limited ("Teispace", "we"). By using the app you agree to them.
Using the app
Tithipatra is free to use for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source code or bundled data, except where the law allows it.
Calendar and panchanga information
The app shows Bikram Sambat dates, tithi, festivals, holidays and the day's timings. Some of this comes from official publications and some is calculated on your device for your chosen place and method.
- Calculations follow established astronomical methods, but different methods, places and sources can give different results, especially near the start or end of a tithi.
- Festival and holiday dates can be changed by the authorities after publication.
- The app is for general reference. For religious observances, ceremonies and official holidays, please confirm with your priest, family tradition or the relevant authority.
Tithipatra is not affiliated with the Government of Nepal or any of its bodies.
Sources and third-party content
The app credits its data sources, with their licences, under Settings → Data and sources. Those remain subject to their own terms.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Teispace is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made or events planned based on information shown in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version is always in the app and at tithipatra.com/terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
